Early Intervention
From 6 months to 4 years of age, Our program is designed to work with the infant in four relevant areas of human development: social-affective, communication, motor, and cognitive.
Special Education
Education is a fundamental right of all people and to make this effective it demands the guarantee that all children and young adults have access to a quality education with equal opportunities. This includes all children and young adults with or without disabilities.
School Inclusion
Our greatest objective is to include children and young adults in the National System of Education, for which reason we promote the alliance with the Ministry of Education, and we strengthen the abilities and capabilities to achieve this objective.
Vocational Training
This is a support service that aims to train our students with intellectual disabilities to be part of the general workforce according to their talents and interests.
Job Placement
A program whose primary purpose is to ensure the successful inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities in the general workforce.
Independent Living
The Institute deems that the promotion of an autonomous and independent life shall be one of the main pillars on which any program or legislation shall be based, regarding people with intellectual disabilities.
Support Services
A group of national and international advisors coordinates the Support Services Programs.
Sensory Integration
To strengthen students’ skills, it is necessary to identify the compromised sensory areas and provide the necessary treatment to achieve better processing of sensory information and better organization of their adaptive responses.
Physical Therapy
To improve students’ physical skills, the Institute has a physiotherapy program that aims to implement therapeutic strategies to obtain the highest level of functionality in children and young people.
Speech Therapy
To promote social interaction in people with intellectual disabilities or autism, the Institute provides language therapy services through its various programs, to generate a communicative intention.
Occupational Therapy
To ensure that our users take the step towards independence from a very young age, the Institute offers them the service of Occupational Therapy.
Social Work
Actions are constantly being taken so that, through research and studies of family conditions, problems, needs or risks can be detected, and thus support the student and his/her family.
Family Guidance
This service is developed through a School for Families Program, whose objective is to accompany families or caregivers in all stages of their children’s development, from the moment of their birth until they achieve inclusion in different environments.
Psychology
The program developed by the Psychology department at the Institute aims to provide periodic intervention and monitoring of the student’s progress.
Sports
Through sports, interaction, following instructions, and competitive spirit, among others, are generated. We developed a competitive program that has allowed us to identify and strengthen sports skills in students.
Puntea Program
The Autism Spectrum Disorder Children Unit Program aims to provide direct care to children with autism, to provide the necessary tools to achieve their inclusion in society.
