He has been working in a banking institution in Guatemala for 3 years now, Jeremías is part of the Comprehensive Care Program for Labor Inclusion of the Institute, whose primary purpose is to ensure access, under equal conditions, for people with intellectual disabilities and autism in the workplace.

Now that he works in the technology area, Jeremías is being included, contributing financially to his familly income, strengthening his autonomy and self-esteem, thus improving his quality of life and that of his family.

In this video, learn about Jeremías’ testimony and how, through an opportunity for labor inclusion, young Guatemalans with intellectual disabilities and autism are being included in formal work spaces, creating opportunities for all.

All programs used at the “Instituto Neurológico de Guatemala” are developed under the Life Cycle concept, which combines the different levels of intervention with support services that people with intellectual disabilities and autism require to strengthen their learning.
