On May 26, 2022, the Neurological Institute Foundation (NIF) held the inaugural ceremony at the house of the Ambassador of Guatemala in Washington, D.C. Alfonso Quinonez.

Special guests, distinguished members of society, and members of the Board of Directors of the Neurological Institute of Guatemala and the Neurological Institute Foundation attended the event.

This event establishes the start of activities in the United States of America, this being a fundraising arm and generator of strategic alliances, supporting children and young people with limited resources with autism and intellectual disabilities in Guatemala.

We thank the attendees for their support, which will reach the special education programs and support therapies, to impact the lives of 200 children and young people through evaluation, diagnosis, and training sessions for families and educators.

We thank the Ambassador for allowing us this approach and for his willingness to cooperate for the noble cause.
