In order to reach and help underprivileged children and young people with intellectual disabilities and autism in Guatemala. The Neurological Institute in Guatemala began a new journey this week, by leading a team of experts in neurological disabilities.

The main goal is to help families by detecting possible conditions such as developed delay, language problems, motor skills problems, learning skills problems, and intellectual disabilities. All the clinical and therapeutical assistance and services are totally free of charge supported by your donations.

This evaluation started November 23 and end November 25, is taking place outside the Institute that is located in the capital city. These services are provided in a specific area of Guatemala that doesn’t have access to detect or treat underprivileged children and young people with intellectual disabilities and autism.
